Man, yesterday was hilarious. The government reported that the CIA analysts who said there was no proof of WMD in Iraq are the ones to blame for exaggerating the case for war, and the White House and Pentagon had nothing to do with it! Even better: The World Bank board unanimously approved the appointment of Paul Wolfowitz, and the Washington Post editorialized that any attack on Wolfowitz's character was an attack on the very purpose of the World Bank! Very funny, guys! And look at this: Fact Check says that the Democratic Party's ads that the filibuster should not be eliminated because it can sometimes be used for good causes are lying because the filibuster can sometimes be used for bad causes! Ha ha!

On the first item, the President's Commission which blamed the analysts for Iraq really does seem to be the President's Commission, as its head Laurence Silberman has a long history of Republican partisanship.
