Freedom Fridays
Twistedcat suggests a symbolic sign of passive resistance against the Bushies: wearing red clothing on Fridays.
You'll have to count me out. I don't have a single red item in my wardrobe, and I rarely go out on Fridays anyway. Maybe I can reinstall Red Hat every week.
Update 11:40PM: this has been making the rounds since at least mid-May, and has even been
mentioned in the press. The initiator is usually cited as Nadia Jensen.
The Oregon Coast Geeze calls it the Better Red Than Bush campaign.
There is also a wear-red-on-Fridays campaign to show support for the war in Iraq. Finally,
a usenet post suggesting that Norweigans in WW2 actually did wear red caps to protest the occupation, and that an alternative was to wear paper clips.
